1 st place at the Sumol Nazaré Special Edition

There are some contests that I really wanted to win and the Nazare special edition was one of them,it s one of the most prestigious and historic event of the World and means a lot to me winning this event.
Il y a des compétitions que je voulais vraiment gagner et le Nazaré Special Edition en faisait parti,c est l une des compétitions les plus prestigieuses et historique au monde et signifie beaucoup pour moi de remporter cette édition.

I ve been invited 2 times before and I finished 2nd and 4th,I ve been close to win but never enough to take the trophy.This year the waves were smaller than the editions before which I think was a good thing,it made us riders being able to do more moves and in the end, it was a better show for everyone.
J ai été invité 2 fois auparavant et fini 2 eme et 4 eme,j ai été proche de la victoire mais jamais assez pour ramener le trophé.Cette année,les vagues étaient plus petites que les éditions précedentes,ce qui je pense fut beaucoup mieux,cela nous a permis de faire plus de manoeuvres et finalement,ce fut un meilleur spectacle pour tout le monde.

Antonio Cardoso and Eliot Morales were the stand-out of the event, Antonio,the local from Nazare finished 2nd and showed everyone he s one of the best european riders today at only 19 years of age.Eliot could have a sticker on him saying show-man,this guy just loves to fly, after tempting the first 720 ever in a contest, he landed one of the biggest air reverse I ever seen and was rewarded a perfect 10.
Antonio Cardoso et Eliot Morales ont été les hommes en forme de l évenement.Antonio le local de Nazaré a fini deuxième et a montré a tout le monde qu il était l un des meilleurs européens a l heure actuel a seulement 19ans.Eliot pourrait etre “stickerisé” : Show man ! Ce gars adore voler,après avoir fait le premier 720 jamais tenté en compétition,il a mis l un des plus gros reverse airs que j ai jamais vu et fut recompensé par la note parfaite : 10 points.

I was vey happy to win,like I said ,it was an event I really wanted to win and it is those kind of competition who make our sport look amazing and I m sure there will many more like this.It s definieltly a good start of the year for me winning the first big event of the year and makes me very confident before heading to Hawaii in February.
Je suis très heureux d avoir gagné,comme je l ai dit,c était une compétition que je voulais vraiment gagner et c est ce genre d évenement qui mette notre sport en valeur et je suis sur qu il y en aura beaucoup d autres.C est bien sur un très bon début de saison pour moi que de remporter le premier gros évenement de l année et me met bien en confiance avant de m envoler pour Hawaii en Février.
